We have unprecedented silver inventory volatility to report from Friday’s COMEX silver action, with the big news being a massive 2.5 million ounce REGISTERED (dealer) silver withdrawal from Brink’s.
There was a total of 4 inventory movements involving dealer (registered) inventories, and 9 total inventory movements to report.
Besides the massive withdrawal from Brink’s vaults, there was also an 89,842.240 ounce silver withdrawal from JP Morgan, and a coinciding identical 89.942.240 oz deposit into Scotia Mocatta.
In summary: We’re long Post-It-Notes.

Every day we’re shufflin….shufflin
While the CME is now reporting inventory levels to 3 decimal places, strangely enough- once again, NO MENTION FROM THE CME OF THE MISSING 1.4 MILLION OUNCES OF REGISTERED SILVER THAT SIMPLY DISAPPEARED IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE MF GLOBAL BANKRUPTCY!
As a strangely coincidental supply turned up in JPMorgan vaults almost simultaneously as the MFGlobal clients phyzz went missing, until the CME provides an update of what happened to this stolen inventory, The Doc will continue to provide the latest available info on this from the CME:
*Registered ounces of metal currently not available for delivery
as of 11/4/11 due to MFGI bankruptcy. Included in above totals.
| DEPOSITORY | Registered |
| Brinks | 210,320 |
| Delaware | 65,706 |
| HSBC | 793,734 |
| Scotia Mocatta | 351,156 |

Nice pop for silver and it’s holding Good news
Expect to see some big redemption’s from SLV as the silver price rises…
This is getting SERIOUS! When the elites themselves ‘run on the bank’, you can expect those little brown speckles on the wall to get a whole lot more numerous. Millennial History is knocking at the door!
Looks like Brinks must be delivering my monthly order!
well at least I can dream
Maybe Brinks is delivering 1/3 of Eric Sprotts latest order?
2.5 Mil oz is such a huge amount!
Aussie It looks like we are both trying to take delivery of the same silver. There goes the paper market. Silver will hit $300 an ounce tomorrow. Well, maybe next week. I can dream too.
Broken record time- I just don’t believe they have 38 million ounces all registered and ready to go. It took them the entire month of July to deliver only 9 million. Harvey said there were quite a few cash settlements (although there is no proof of this, the contracts just disappear).
If they wanted to convince me they had all this, they should have finished the deliveries in the first week or two. It looks like they had to get out their begging bowl and hit up all sorts of sources to cover it all.
Just an opinion from the wilderness.
Hold fast, I think we are ripe for a big move.
