Don’t Drone Me, Bro!

The drone issue is a perfect example of a government run wild with power, thinking it has a mandate in its ability to murder its citizens, with the threat of terrorism as the high cover to a sky filled with weaponized UAVs.  My refrain is “Don’t Drone me, Bro’!

A government with a weapon system like this will eventually use it, even if a copy of the  Constitution is wrapped around its engine nacelle.

It’s pretty apparent our ship of state can wallow around seemingly without a rudder for months or even years.  Regard the Clinton era  for confirmation of that statement.   During unsettled  times, such as those we are now experiencing, the Congress appears almost rudderless, without a budget or even a model of direction within these two houses, except to engage in minor spats, turf building and invective.  This may be going much to plan since the Dems control the Senate. The House is pretty much powerless to counter their intentions. Usually when the two houses are controlled by opposing parties, there is some gridlock.

Today, it’s more like a lock down. In this dangerous world the president has been given nearly free reign to guide, nudge and direct the course of the country with his bully pulpit bloviations and relentless stream of Executive Orders.  This is not going well for us but it does seem to be going fairly well for those who pull the strings of power.   Giving this president’s nearly unrestrained control of the levers of power and his psychopathic tendencies, he is the ideal tool in the hands of those who inhabit the dark hallways.
Give the devil his due, Il Duce has been given much leeway in these Executive  Orders:  readily available, preplanned and  written by people who do not have our best interests in mind and printed up at a moment’s notice. Dear Leader then  signs them, all the while complaining that he does so only under protest. Or so he says.  The  unintended consequences of these EOs are increasingly apparent as they bubble to the surface, arousing the ire of  We, the people. These particular EOs have teeth and they are starting to bite.

This country is pretty durable but when a power hungry president is given 8 years to ‘Fundamentally Change the United States of America”, EOs are great ways to subtly nudge and shift the course of the country.  Cass Sunstein was the most prominent champion of this policy of ‘nudging’ to effect major policy changes. He also stated that to complete the changes he recommends, the body count of 25 million Americans was an acceptable total. Taken one at a time, EOs don’t seem to have the  power to effect  change.  Collectively and in concert, they are becoming a real grind on the American psyche.  Coupled with a regulatory machine that is out of control, this governmental wrecking ball is causing real damage.
Most EOs are signed quietly. They are not noted unless they are significant, such as the 23 EOs signed by Obama regarding the Second Amendment. Even a cursory reading of the NDAA or the NDRP EO shows they have power to reduce us to chattel in the blink of an eye.  As Congress dithers over sequestration, debt limits and  lobbing little arrows and pinpricks to wound members of the Loyal Opposition**, the president holds sway over the major decisions,  regardless of whether they are in  compliance with Federal law, the Constitution or the preferences of the Congress. Those Constitutional Laws are incoveniences on the pathway to control. The will of the people is not given a minute’s consideration.

Note
Erik Holder’s convulsions over how he and Obama would ultimately select the schmuck who finds himself in the crosshairs of a baleful and vindictive government.  All they’d need to do is deem him a ‘combatant.’  Given that this pathological view reflects Obama’s true nature, with his  long list of enemies, real or fictional, and it does not take much imagination to picture how someone could be called a threat to the nation and have Obama give the order to pickle a JDAM up his gumstump.

Islamabad or Peoria? Take your pick. They’re both target-rich environments.
Like Li’l Abner character Pogo’s statement,  ’We’ve found the enemy and he is us’,  the weapons systems need only be turned 180 degrees and we are in some real trouble as a people.

Recall how the innocents in Waco Texas were murdered by a Clintonista called Janet Reno. She gave not one moment’s thought to the lives of the 20 or so children killed by the government thugs.  We now have that same mentality in Janet II, the Obergruppenfuhrer to Obama’s DHS brown shirt army.  2 billions rounds of ammo and 2,700 MRAPs tell me we are in for a world of hurt when she unleashed her flying monkey squadrons on us. I can only speculate what trip wire will give her cause to set her death machines in motion

There is one thing that’s  been rattling in my head for while.  The   aspects of  evil power in this country,  both concealed and manifest, are becoming  much more evident  each day today. It seem that we wake up each day to some new outrage heard on the news or internet about how our loony government has  made one more inane pronouncement or edict that we have to live with. It seems almost surreal how this comes about.  It’s power run amuck.

Kennedy and all the Machiavellian intrigues of his Camelot Court resulted in his death.  That was not a simple time.  Neither is the one we live in.  There were great dangers in the world then as there are now.  Kennedy had his ideas and convictions. Some good and some not so good.  Others thought differently.    Lee Harvey Oswald was just a tool for quietly powerful and deadly individuals to execute a threat to their plans for financial and FIAT debt domination of the US and the world.  Kennedy  was a outlier wild card who had ideas that ran  counter to the plans set in place decades prior to his presidency. I can’t go into details because they are beyond the scope of my knowledge and  are labyrinthine to the Nth degrees.  Suffice it to say, he was in the way.
Obama, however, is the perfectly malleable Manchurian candidate. He’s a soft tablet of clay that’s been written upon since his early days at Columbia. Hence the reason his records of that era and after are so tightly sealed.

But he’s no Kennedy.  He’s more like the worst of FDR but I digress on that subject.
Everything seems to rotate back to  a focus on  Obama.  He is the ideal focal point of our stares; whether in adulation or repulsion.   He draws constant attention to himself,  deflecting hard criticism since he’s black, slick, semi eloquent and attractive.  Criticizing him would have you called a racist or worse. But you can’t look away. He’s like the car wreck at the side of the road.   He is the perfect foil to help accommodate the process in the reduction and dispersion of this country’s power.   His plans sound so good and generous; filled with Social Justice.
I hear the comment,  ‘How can you not go along with his plans’?
What?
‘Are you an ungenerous selfish person’?  ‘There are people suffering don’t you know?’.
Implied in that statement is the unstated theme.  It’s your fault these people are suffering. You didn’t give enough. Give more and more and ultimately you will be just like them: Poor, downtrodden and powerless. This theme is not about uplifting people. It’s about bringing everyone to the lowest common denominator.

It’s hard to push back against those statements.  It’s like trying countering the legal question  “Have you stopped beating your wife”? No matter how you answer, you come out sounding bad. Those who oppose Obama are excoriated in the same fashion for their ungenerous natures no matter how charitable they may be.   ”Have you stopped bad mouthing Obama yet?” There is no way to answer this question without giving others the chance to diminish and reduce you.

I see this country as a force for good but also one that abuses its strengths.  At the present time  our political leaders are  abusing those strengths while  creating great weaknesses that are, I believe, the intended results  desired  by the same dark elites who work  outside the well traveled corridors of power in Washington DC.

Obama has many qualities that fit perfectly into this theme. He’s not that smart but he is cunning.  He has  a nasty pathological side that easily manipulated.  As the most undeserving recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize since Yassir Arafat and Jimmy Carter,  he is probably the deadliest person on the planet, wrapping himself in this elite award while issuing orders to kill people with his fleet of drones. Anyone else would be called a war criminal. Obama is called the prince of peace. The president always travels with the football; the briefcase with all the nuclear codes and controls. That is one of the most dangerous things I can think of today.

Left to his own devices he’ll run off the plantation now and then but this is pretty much allowed so long as he remains on the leash.  His true nature is becoming increasingly obvious even to those who supported him in the early years. They’re now doing back flips in order to his excuse his actions. It’s one thing to applaud the clown’s antics. It’s another thing to allow the clown to carry a loaded gun.
Here is the critical point that makes me think hard about this president.

Obama, like most presidents, is little more than a puppet.  It’s my opinion that  anyone who demands  a title such as President, Prime Minister or Premier is little more than a low paid manager, hired by the elites through the ruse and illusion of a democratic  voting system or,  like Mario Monti, simply appointed  with no concern as to the will of the people.
These apparatchiks are given a modicum or appearance of power, a nice home, enough emoluments to keep their megalomaniacial narcissistic natures filled with sufficient satiation; their baser natures under control. With mistresses, little girls and boys, giant planes, opulent vacations, innumerable flacks, acolytes, toadies and lickspittles to make even our president’s gross  nature controllable and  amenable to those who provide suggestions, nudges and gentle tugs that keep the president’s higher brain function unconscious, they enabling and set free his true nature; a petty man-child dancing with a gun in his hand, capering to the tune of the piper.
With his enormous security details,  he is quite aware of his vulnerabilities.  He knows the fate of presidents who slip the leash or pull too hard on the handlers. So he dances.

The president’s course, the course of his controllers and the elites, is to oversee the demolition of this country.
”Fundamental change” was high sounding  phrase but in it’s real message, it did not imply an improvement  to the well being of the people and this country.  ‘Never waste a good crisis’ was as important a theme to this President as Clinton’s statement  ‘It’s the economy, stupid’  At least the Clinton’s were honest in their insult to the American people, as if we couldn’t figure out that it’s always about  the economy.  We’re not stupid.

We are being deluded into thinking that these crises of the last decade are being solved by sound economic policies. Rather than fixing that which was broken,  these crises are being used by people with a much longer time line to help with this country’s destruction.  How that will be manifested remains  to be seen.
Present policies, laws, regulations and EOs mean  the diminution of the country; with a clear intent to knock  the US down a notch or three.  This set a very dangerous course in  an increasingly dangerous world. For those who study the effects of these policies, it’s clear  this process of reductions to the strengths of America is not going quite as well as intended.  Breaking a machine does not make it run better.  There’s going to be some  serious blow-back to this elitist tinkering given the mandate given to Obama and others of his kind.  Sand in the gears does not make the machine better.

There are many up and coming  leaders who seek more power when other leaders and countries show weakness.  We are giving them the opportunities to exert their new-found powers as they seen weakness in the US.   I’m not saying we should thrown our weight around but we can’t just lay back in a soft bed of FIAT insolvency and debt, thinking this will solve our problems.  The problems of this country are manifest. It does not seem that any leader is working vigorously to correct the excesses of this country’s policies.   Rand Paul may have put a wedge in the door, telling the people of the  real intention of the president and his attorney general. Hopefully we will see more of this courageous rhetoric, designed to alert those of us who still care about the fate of the US and the dangers posed by our leaders.

** The Loyal Opposition is an oxymoron.  You are either loyal supporter  or an opponent to the current paradigm. You can’t be both when the stakes are as high as they are today.  If sufficiently informed and aware, I am hopeful that more people will become members of the opposition. We certainly don’t find enough of that in the members of the House and Senate. I see only the evil of two lessers. There is only a fraction of a wavelength of light separating the two parties and that doesn’t bode well for the country at this time.  New leadership is needed in a desperate way.

  1. It is not Obama or the left who is implementing this dominance, as it was not Bush nor the right, it is their overlords who are doing this to us and the rest of the globe. We need to stop framing these stories in a “current president blame thing” way and start working together as Americans and dispel the left/right myth to even begin to know who the enemy truly is…………just sayin’.

  2. It’s easy to call out BHO.  If I knew then what I know now, I’d be saying that same about Bush.  There is mention about the elites and dark forces controlling much of the power structure we see today.  But I see what you mean Silver Slicker, breaking out of the Hegelian nature of our world is difficult.

  3. Let’s see, your FEMA camps for the masses haven’t come to fruition.  And of course I can’t forget your comparisons to Hitler’s Germany.   Ummm, your bank runs didn’t come to fruition.  I can go on but I don’t think I need to.   I think you need to do a little more reading about the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012, which by the way was passed by Congress and signed by the President.  Testing of drone technololy is underway and FAA is to establish regs by 2015.  First, it’s hard to deny the benefits of the use of drones.  Whether for monitoring illegal immigrant activity, fires, natural disasters or for search and rescue, to name a few.  I mentioned on another thread that Holder answered Paul’s question about the use of drones clearly before Paul started his filibuster.  Check youtube video of Senator Cruz and Holder.  When asked the question of whether an American could be targeted on American soil who did not pose an imminent threat, Holder answered no.  That was Paul’s question and Holder provided that answer an hour before Paul’s filibuster.  Paul was grandstanding, something politicians have been known to do.  I think too often we look like right wing loonies on this site.  Maybe this isn’t the site for me as I come here for helpful info on PMs.  As to the future of drones I think we need to wait and see what happens.  It may end up being regulated by states.  But if I was to use your logic, I would have left this country long ago.  I mean, hell man, there are plenty of military bases around the country that have the ability to drop all kinds of bad news on top of your head.

    • I think too often we look like right wing loonies on this site.  Maybe this isn’t the site for me as I come here for helpful info on PMs.
Well if I’m a right wing Loonie then you must be a Democrat.

    • Holders carefully crafted wording did not say who an “active combatant” is defined as. It could be Joe blow typing on twitter that Obama sucks and needs to be removed from office via impeachment

  4. Nah, I’m just a guy with a lot of common sense.  Too often it can get me in trouble…lol.

  5. Marchas45 … After I posted to your post above I had to laugh (as in funny ha-ha, not mocking) as I thought about your post.  If you think about it, the first thing a “right wing loonie” would accuse me of being for disagreeing with some of these posts IS a Democrat.

  6. @AGXIIK One important point in your thread that was not mentioned I don’t believe was the Elite’s power over the Media which is the scourge of this country and the controlling factor in any Debate.
You also know what I think about the Elite’s and yes Obama is just one of their Puppets.

  7. Roger on missing that note about the elite’s control of media.  I read a post the the CIA has strong influence and control over most media including MSM.  Re the FEMA camps, there was an RFP placed by FEMA for job openings to man these camps. It was pretty explicit. Once the notice was placed on the web, it was taken down within a day, with a denial that it existed.  The notice made interesting reading nonetheles. The small and regional banks saw about $130 billion withdrawn in January 2013 due to the reduction of unlimited FDIC insurance.  MMA managers saw so much money flood in they were concerned about where to invest it.  Two ideas were batted around  One was to offer NIRP return.  The other was about being allowed to ’ break the buck’ if the investments lost money and share value went under $1.00  The Fed is discussing that possibility to, just in case the MMA investors get on the wrong side of the yields.
I am thinking about changing my avatar to a one winged water fowl.

  8. People are already discussing how to deal with drones, can they make them as fast as they may get shot down?

  9. “”Have you stopped bad mouthing Obama yet?””

My reply would be, “Telling the truth and asking honest questions about terrible political, financial, and economic policy is NOT bad-mouthing anything”.

  10. It is now official that Obama has the power to strike down innocent citizens on US soils but these people still thinks that Obama is the “best” and they also don’t believe about the drone strikes happening in reality to them. In my opinion, I think Americans’ point of view will dramatically change once one of these missiles strikes them or when they experience it right in front of their face.
