Anyone else think this Bolivia business might just start silver zig-zagging
Fully expect shock waves to hit from new margin requirements going into
effect for ALL commodities beginning early August. Can see Silver maybe
breaking down through support at $26. Could happen. Would be consistent
with TPTB to try and run Silver through the floor trying to create a perception
of it losing value and on it’s way to being practically worthless.
But, with more customer accounts getting ‘vaporized’ today at PFGBests
(Already being called MFGlobal 2.0) & JPM’s finger prints apparently all
over the crime screen, plus the likely re-emergence of the US debt ceiling
needing to be raised and potential down grades associated with that dog and pony
show, events just might be becoming favorable again for PM’s. Then
add Bolivia maybe nationalizing their Silver mines and look out! This may be a
September to remember as Silver busts algos to the up side for a change.
My short term plan—-Stack carefully through the rest of July. Be ready
for lower prices if they come in August, hope we don’t see the predictable rise
in premiums that seem likely to come. Then take a front row seat and watch as
Silver prices push through $50.
Could very well be 4 oz. If they can drop the price below $26.00, it could easily dive to $20.00 for a floor. With that said, there’s an awful lot going on that looks bullish for silver. Talk about a whacked out state of affairs for the silver world. Sheesh! One thing to remember is, while the manipulation can continue, the need for silver will grow exponentially as industry will require more and more silver due to electronics in particular. When they start mining trash dumps for silver, we will know our stacks are worth a mint.
Very good points 2 OZ and 4OZ. Somone on another site noted that the paper price and physical price will diverge. But the silver shorts could get crushed when there is not enough silver when investors say ‘stand and delivery’ The next month or two will be interesting when nationalization and the paper markets collide. If shortages take place in August it will not be for the reasons I noted. The short trading and super low prices could be the driving force

I will have to get the wife over the hump but think that either a monster box of silver or equivalent in gold is going to be the right move here shortly. We've been saving, and now at the ... "Reply To: My Faith in Silver is Just About Broken
" I picked up a few semi-numismatic coins a couple of days ago. Did not have any of them in my stack so I wanted to round it out a bit with a few of the prettier coins. I am still a fairly young guy at 35 so I am keeping my glass half full. I am certainly discouraged but I do believe that eventuall... "Reply To: My Faith in Silver is Just About Broken
" Shortwave ham frequencies provide worldwide communications daily. VHF/UHF has its place in local comms. No morse code to get a license anymore. Doesn't hurt to know it tho because it will get thru jamming and interference voice can't. All my antennas are emp grounded, it is called lightning prot... "Reply To: Ham radio
" PS: GROUND your EMP Shielding, that cannot hurt and likely helps.
I bet MaryB already has though LOL!
Is Morse Code still part of the HAM License?
They cannot really shut down the frequencies, but may attempt to jam them.
But more likely they will monitor these channels.

" There goes the idea that I could get in cheaply! I knew that was too easy.
Would I be able to contact anyone worldwide? That was my thought going with this idea in the first place. What's the point in buying one if it doesn't go worldwide? I thought they all had global abilities. I may ha... "Reply To: Ham radio
" I have thought about this. If it is not in the US, it is a risk IMO.
Even in the US, it could still be seized in a bank holiday. hard to say
Thanks for perspective, Mammoth "Reply To: Chinese yuan bank account
