I have 100 copper tea party rounds ive seen them go for as high on ebay as 22 dollars each, would anyone be interested in some or all of them for 7 dollars?
$7 for the whole lot??? U can get more than that!
100 oz avoirdupois, that is almost $25 worth of Copper! Almost…
I meant to say each at the end. These are becoming Numismatics since the raid.
with copper at $3.52 a pound that is what I would pay. Easier to mine rolls of pennies from the bank, cheaper too
Well, I saw those being listed for $22 each, but no sales at that price.
I found some nice 1 oz avdp’s for right at $1.13 each, shipped.
Scored me 9 of those beauties! Each Oz. avdp contains just under
22 cents of Copper, so I overpaid by 5x LOL :D
$7 is overpaying by a factor of ~35x, and $22 = 110x overpaid, GO FIGURE!!!
Hope it pans out for ya, Bub. I’d hang on tt them for a bit, if they do not sell.
If copper and the dollar re-valuate, (@ 10g/$) These (any) avdp Oz. rounds will be worth ~$3 each.
This is per @PatFields prediction (or reference to China’s revaluation) of a way to save the dollar.
Doing the math shows that it would not be a fair valuation, copper is worth more than that in real value.
It is also depressed as far as the Gold is concerned.
I saw some over the summer go for $22, probably just because it was a voting year.
All these copper ingots and coins being sold for many times their value are a total waste of money. No way would I consider them a numismatic product. The only reason people are buying them for such a high premium on ebay is because they are idiots. I am thinking about getting my own molds, melting some copper and producing my own before even the dummies figure it out.
Copper has such a high melting point, makes it difficult to work.

I bought 20 1 oz rounds for a buck a piece, plus a little for shipping. Copper cents are better and cheaper. But some bullion may be ok. We will see what the price of copper does with this new ETF that has been formed.
Hey SilverDuder, I see you live in the twin cities. I also live in MN. I was wondering if I could buy some SBSS coins from you. Please give me a call. Thanks, Jeremy 320-236-2524
I have lots of old scrap copper wire pieces I’ve been saving. I might try melting some in the wood stove and mint some medallions of my own design. The wood stove might no get hot enough to melt copper before it cracked though. That would be bad because I love my simple wood stove.
