    Hi Everyone,

Today if you peruse DrudgeReport you will see an article that talks about a low-carb diet being better for your health and losing weight but I just did my own 6 week study on an All carb diet. You might call me crazy but I did this actually to see the effects on my body in case we go into survivalist mode here in America. I chose rice b/c it is pretty much non-perishable and probably the cheapest food source per unit of measure.

Yes, that is right, I ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner rice and water, every day, for 6 whole weeks. I have created a youtube video showing the effects on my body here: (I know all you have is my word, but I have no reason to lie about it and I am willing to do any scientific study if any researcher reads this and wonders how the hell I did this)

Now, with all of that said, I didn’t do this b/c I think an all carb diet is beneficial, I did it in case I do have to resort to this tactic if all food sources vanish. This is what they ate in communist Russia and many former satellite countries when food supplies ran low and your life would have depended on getting a food source that wouldn’t perish and was affordable (those with gold were able to buy first).

Strangely enough, I have actually come out of this diet stronger, faster, leaner, and feeling better than before.

I don’t think Science or nutritionists actually know what is total truth (they have an idea but are never 100% right) when it comes to dieting nor do I adhere to any 1 principle that is absolute b/c everyone’s body is different even if it is just a small percentage difference in genetics. Now, you could argue that my body is genetically able to handle carbs better…. but keep in mind I am eating a 100 fold more carbs than anyone else b/c it is the only thing I ate.

But the fact of the matter is, no one has actually tried an all-carb diet for 6 weeks and actually posted results as I have; so all in all, the constant fad changing from decade to decade is a bunch of hocus pocus and I think you need to do what works best for you.

In my honest opinion the best all-around diet that can work for most people is eating organic fruits & vegetables, oils (olive and coconut), nuts and seeds. I would eat meat sparingly if at all (and consume mostly fish when I do eat meat).

The truth is that the mega-globalist corporate Agriculture machines are evil in their attempts to produce GMO crops with pesticides built into the DNA (Monsanto) that supposedly doesn’t harm you but kills any insect that eats it. Monsanto is evil and they know their products are meant to only yield the most without concern to health.

Also, stay away from oils such as Canola which comes the rapeseed, a poisonous seed, which has to be highly processed with solvents to extract oil out of the seed. Any oil that has to come from a hard-bearing seed is not good for you, despite MSM and the global food industries claims. I have done 100s of hours of research on food, nutrition and health and have found that this is one of the most heinous of lies. The best oils to date to my knowledge are organic coconut and extra virgin olive oil (and yes I have studied smoke point and everything you could conceive of when it comes to olive oil and it is hands down the best oil besides coconut). Make sure you do your due diligence on how the oil is housed, especially with some olive oils not being 100% true to form. Some companies will mix in something called Pomace which is devil juice; it is a putrid, foul form of oil b/c solvents are used to extract oil from the seed just as is the case with cottonseed, canola, sunflower, and other unhealthy oils.

Anyways, thought I would share my knowledge with you as I have researched this quite a bit and I am someone that has no personal motives/interests like a giant mega corporate globalist Monsanto that only cares about yield and profit (they are completely evil and I hope they go bankrupt).

    Regards,

    ich1baN

    Great read, ich1baN.

Good thing that beans are cheap and very easy to store for 25+ years if processed right.  The combo of rice (carbs) and beans for protein and other nutrients can form the building block for reasonable nutrition for the survivalist.

Olive oil has some better than average shelf life, which is a good thing.  I’m going to look into the merits of mixing olive oil with pure vitamin e oil, which can act as a preservative.

I’ve known many people that stuck to a low carb diet for years and universally, they all seemed less healthy than when I knew them back in their day of “normal” eating.

According to the book Sugar Busters, which was written by doctors, carbs turn to sugar in your blood stream so your body must secrete its version of insulin to counteract the sugar which is poisonous to the body. Insulin makes your body store fat so if all you’re eating is rice then of course you’re leaner. You didn’t consume any fat and a ZERO fat diet is usually very successful. Carbs aren’t bad for you but sugar and fat are.

    40oz,

Actually that is a myth that you won’t gain weight by not eating fat…. Actually one of the most healthy parts of a balanced diet is getting healthy fats from olive oils, coconut oils, almonds and other nuts and legumes.

Also, there is a mainstream thought among nutritionists and so called fitness “gurus” that equate eating carbs and gaining weight/fat as an axiom of health and nutrition. I just wanted to show people that even on a survivalist diet, you can eat gulag served meals and still look great, feel great, and gain strength.

Your mind is even more powerful than what you consume and if you use it correctly you can become healthier despite not having the best nutrition around.
    Example:

Look at kids that live in poor areas in the US. Many of them are either obese or in extremely fit and muscular solid conditions. If you look at most football and basketball players that came from poor neighborhoods all they ate was McDonalds, white bread, extremely harmful fats called trans fat, cholesterol-heightened foods with loads of sodium, yet they are still physically superior.

You could say the easy answer that it is genes but the thing is they are consuming the worst kinds of foods and still able to excel athletically. I attribute this to their minds. Their minds make it possible to utilize nutrients even from the worst kinds of foods and put it to work when they do play their respective sports. There is no scientist or nutritionist that I have heard of who can dispel the dichotomy of athletes from poorer socio-economic backgrounds being physically superior while eating the absolute worst foods you can think of.

Nasty ich1baN! Rice if I have to but, a country boy can survive. A trot line and garden, dehydrated tomatoes and dry pinto beans, flour and water, deer jerky and chicken fruit. The diet is good if you have to thanks for the experiment. What a site the DOC has here.

    Chicken fruit!

    2 oz,

I HOPE I FIND YOU WHEN THE SHTF!! I can do my load of chores and yardwork to pay for the food :) You must have immense ag experience?
Btw, if you guys want me to experiment by eating certain foods for prolonged periods (say 4-6 weeks) let me know and I will experiment… Just don’t give weird requests like eating sugar only for 6 weeks as I want to come out of this thing alive too :)
