Following last week’s Silver is the New Gold infographic detailing all the supply/demand data and statistics a silver bug could imagine, Visual Capitalist has released the ultimate infographic on gold as an investment. While it’s not silver, gold is our next favorite investment.
From Visual Capitalist:

I still have some investment in the Permanent Portfolio from years ago when Harry Browne first started it. I also remember voting for him when he ran for President under the Libertarian Party. His books on silver in the ’70s were also one of few sources of information about silver during that time and I read them all several times. Problem with PRPFX is, if you cash out, it is in dollars. His best book, in my opinion, is “How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World”. Sure do miss him, he was a great American.
awesome infographic!
my only complaint:
in the section titled “how to get exposure to gold”, it lists ETFs as one possible option, with plusses and minuses.
in the minuses, it glaringly fails to mention unallocated ETFs, rehypothecation / counter-party risk, which is an irresponsible omission.
I like the way the information was presented because there are a lot of pictures so they are more attractive to read compare to the plain and only texts. I want to see more of these!
