JPM CEO Jamie Dimon reportedly has begun pushing for Federal Government guarantees of mortgages, stating in a recent press conference, and we quote: “If I were the dictator, I would want a government-guaranteed mortgage.”

As The Street reports:
JPMorgan Chase (JPM_) CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon said so many things during the bank’s lengthy investor day last month, that much of it appears to have gone unnoticed. Still, it is difficult to understand why the following statement did not get at least a bit more attention.
“If I were the dictator, I would want a government-guaranteed mortgage.”That’s right, he really said that. It was about 30 minutes after he told CLSA analyst Mike Mayo, “that’s why I’m richer than you” — a statement that has elicited far more discussion.
Thankfully Mr. Dimon, it is not quite yet time for Armageddon, and neither you nor Blythe are the dictator.

The way I read it, Mr Dimon just called Obama a dictator. At least he was honest about how he feels

Just because Jamie Dimon states that he is not the dictator..Doesn’t mean President Obama is? The question which needs to addressed. These bankers are the dictators to all these Governments..
