LastStraw commented on the post, NFP+ 165k, Unemployment Rate to 7.5%, Gold & Silver Smashed 2 weeks, 5 days ago
Anyone care to explain how creating 165,000 new jobs is good news when we added another 340,000 initial claims for unemployment? I tend to see that as a net decrease of 175,000 people working.
To say it is good […] -
LastStraw commented on the post, Gold & Silver COT Report: Bottom Not in Yet, Commercials ADD 23 Million Oz to Silver Shorts!, 1 month ago
ILUVPMs, there may not be phyzz available at $17, at least not without huge premiums. IMO The difference between a spot price of $23 and $17 may not make a difference once the premium is added on. Phyz right now […]

Of course it will be a system wide bail in. All of these banks have deposits with one another. As soon as the PIIGS banks start to fail, the “bail in” will include inter bank deposits for other banks across the […]

LastStraw commented on the post, Gold & Silver COT Report 4/5: Commercials Cover MASSIVE 28 Million Oz of Net Silver Shorts! 1 month, 1 week ago
Can someone confirm if I understand this correctly? The massive 200 million oz reduction in short contracts over the past four months by the commercials has been used to force the price down from $32/oz to […]

LastStraw commented on the post, Chris Duane: Constitutional Silver Will Disappear First 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Apmex is currently listing $100 face value backs (71.5 oz) at $2354. That’s $32 an oz! For people questioning whether there is a difference between paper and physical markets this should be pretty damn good evidence.

LastStraw commented on the post, Gold & Silver Rout Continues 1 month, 2 weeks ago
I’ve comment various times in the past that when we start seeing $1-$2 swings in the daily price, we will know things are getting ready to take off. The beat down of the spot price has escalated in frequency and […]

Conax, whether or not the banks will eventually go long depends on who is running the show. If the US gov is telling the banks what to do then they will continue to short the metal to protect the value of the […]

LastStraw commented on the post, Silver Recovering After Overnight Sell-off, Gold Back Above $1600 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Smashing the price down $2-$3 would allow them to cover short positions that were established at lower price levels. Realistically, they probably don’t care much about the small swings in price. Rather it is […]

LastStraw commented on the post, Silver Recovering After Overnight Sell-off 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Things are going to get worse before they get better. Ramping up the attack just before the banks reopen may be a signal that the cartel views bank runs throughout Europe to be inevitable. If Cyprus really is to […]

LastStraw commented on the post, Chart(s) of the Day: Divergence of Silver Eagles Sold vs. Silver Price 2 months, 1 week ago
Ok so from both chart it looks like price and # of eagles sold are pretty well correlated up until 2008. So riddle me this, if the cartel has been manipulating metals prices for as long as everyone seems to […]

This is great to see. Volatility should pick up before a major move to the upside. When we start seeing $1.00 + ups and downs in the daily chart for multiple days in a row, I’ll take that as the sign the big […]

This should be expected by everyone. The price was never going to take off after trading horizontally. If we really are at the end of the correction, the cartel is going to hammer the price as hard as possible […]
