    This is exactly the case.  Savers have been screwed, blued, and tattooed by Bernanke as he forces short term interest rates into the dirt and the meager earnings that seniors use to augment their Social Security payments along with them.  Now that savings do not pay much, many seniors are burning through their savings, consuming them, just to buy food, fuel, and medical care that Bernanke says is not rising in price.  They have no plan for the future because their immediate needs consume their attention and their wealth.  

    Thanks, Ben.  It’s so great that you have screwed the very people who create the foundation of a sound economy so that the whores who run wild on Wall Street can get that yacht, that new Italian sports car, that whatever.  Your place in Hell is assured and will be at the lowest and most vile level that Dante says is reserved for “the betrayers of trust”.

    The elderly esepecially should know that they need to hold gold and silver. No?
     
    But yes, no matter how you slice it they’re about to get fleeced. They’re sitting ducks right now.

    Until the finger pointing (musical chairs?) stop and the other turns out to be yourself. Sadly many of the boomers are going to get to learn that lesson pretty soon.

    Just imagine to those Arabs when the US dollar will collapse. They will have high inflation on their food prices. Now today, they are already fighting against the high prices on food.
